This morning, I went to my favorite café. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s my safe haven. My plan was simple: bring my laptop, get some work done, enjoy being outside, and order my usual—avocado toast and an almond milk cappuccino. The sun was warm, my coffee was perfect, and for a second, I looked up and realized… this is it. I’m happy. Right now, in this moment.
I’ve been going through a lot lately. Pressure, uncertainty, financial stress, emotional ups and downs—life has been testing me. Maybe it’s testing you too. But in that peaceful café moment, I felt something I hadn’t felt in a while: pure, uncomplicated gratitude.
